DWP Workshop on Universal Credit
October 16 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
We a delighted to invite members of staff working regularly on the front line of Universal Credit(i.e. with claimants) to a training workshop aimed at demystifying claim processes and procedures.
This event is held in the run up to our quarterly Universal Credit Network meeting on 29th October 2019.
This workshop is your opportunity to ask questions and get answers from a professional representative on Universal Credit. The workshop will be hosted by a trained adviser from the Department for Work and Pensions who is an expert in delivering training and information on Universal Credit.
The workshop will address:
- How to make a claim: 8 steps of the customer journey around Universal Credit.
- Earnings and how they are affected by Universal Credit: Earnings Threshold and the Work Allowance
- Benefit Cap
- Additional Q&A*
- More to be announced
*The Q&A is aimed at addressing both general and more specific concerns that require clarifying. If there is a specific Universal Credit procedure or protocol you need to get your head around, then we recommend bringing your question with you on the day to make sure it gets answered.
This event has been organised in partnership with Community Southwark with the Department for Work and Pensions.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a session for training on Universal Credit only. This is not a feedback session on the efficacy or impact of Universal Credit. If you do have any feedback for the Universal Credit system, please contact email@example.com and your feedback will be passed on to the relevant people at the DWP.
